Professor emeritus John Bowman Thomas of Electrical Engineering at Princeton University passed away on September 13, 2018, peacefully at the home of his youngest daughter Gailyn in New Hampshire. He was 93 years old. He was a member of the Princeton Faculty from 1955 to 1990. Various obituary or memorial articles have already been published (see References at the end of the article below). I would like to publish this article on a website together with various articles, messages, photos and video contributed by his family members, former students, and friends. Professor Thomas’s publications (books, scholarly papers published in journals and major conferences) will also be included.
